Job Overview:
This individual is responsible for ensuring exceptional quality of all company nursing education programs.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensures accuracy of scientific content of all nursing education programs
Works with the Director of Oncology Nursing, develops appropriate program objectives, educational topics, and agendas based on current literature
Remains up-to-date on all oncology topics by attending conferences and reading trade journals
Review presentations for scientific accuracy and completeness and develop slide presentations for expert faculty members accurately based on current literature
Advises faculty on lecture content
Accurately identifies educational needs of the oncology nursing audience and write scientific components of grant requests accordingly
Develops dynamic nursing education concepts
Assists in authoring medical education grants targeted to pharmaceutical companies
Position Requirements:
Master's of science in nursing (preferred), bachelor's prepared nurse, or physician’s assistant
Five years oncology experience required, emphasis in hematology strongly preferred
Medical education experience preferred
Knowledge of ACCME/ANCC guidelines preferred
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
Must be a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills
Functions effectively in stressful situations where deadlines, client demands, and personnel decisions are required
Excellent oral communication, written communication, and editorial skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
Proven proactive problem-solving skills regarding communications with faculty, supporters (where appropriate), as well as financial concerns

This individual will write medical grants for oncology CME and CE programs
Specific Responsibilities:
Compiles, writes, and edits grant proposals exhibiting strong expository skills
Works with company clinical team to identify and create key grant components (eg, target audience, needs assessment, program description, etc.)
Researches grant-funding supporters (eg, pharmaceutical companies and their products), analyzing and identifying potential program and funding opportunities for specific projects and programs as directed
Have knowledge and understanding of target organization (eg, ACCME, ANCC, AANP, AAPA) and uses that knowledge and understanding to increase likelihood of funding
Ability to complete deliverables in timeline driven environment
Ability to work from “shell” documents, building on existing grant outline
Manages multiple projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
